Hi, give thanks yous for bringing this query to us. The only way we can connect the DJI Osmo Action to a mobile device with a DJI Mimo app is through WiFi. Thank you for your agreement and support!

1) Record the file
2) Connect DJI MIMo (iOS or Android phone in this case?) with Osmo using WIFI and download the file to your device using MiMo
3) Turn Osmo/WiFi off
four) Apply cellular signal from phone/hotspot to upload the file to Insta/internet"Non every place when traveling has Wi-Fi," That's fine because you don't need anyone else's WiFi, you can use your cellular point to upload to the net (instead of someone'south wifi).

Yous simply utilize WiFi to transfer the file, earlier uploading.

Mayhap I'm misunderstanding the problem, if so my apologies!

1) Tape the file
2) Connect DJI MIMo (iOS or Android phone in this example?) with Osmo using WIFI and download the file to your device using MiMo
3) Turn Osmo/WiFi off

thats what i was trying to say, why cant we use wi-fi TO TRANSFER THE FILE, FOR UPLOADING.

Yous don't need whatsoever router. You simply need WiFi on your mobile phone and on your Osmo to establish an advert-hoc connection betwixt those.

You tin, in fact that's the only way to transfer a file: except that it's a 2 pace procedure, use Osmo WiFi to transfer the file to the phone. Then use cellular or a WiFi hotspot to upload.

But I see what your saying, you want to do both in one step and that's not possible (and probably volition never be).

Also, I volition take this as a suggestion and will forward it to our designated department for attention. Thanks for your agreement and support.

Theres no need for a Hotspot. Simply turn on your WiFi on your phone and on your Osmo and establish a normal ad-hoc connection between those.
If information technology doesn't connect properly, change the WiFi Settings in the Osmo to 2.four GHz only.

Also make sure, that your Android/iOS doesn't disconnect from WiFi, when at that place's no internet connection in the connected WiFi-Network. On Android you can disable something like "automated network-modify"
